Walt’s Los Angeles Tour – presented by the Walt Disney Archives

You’re invited to an exciting exclusive experience presented by the Walt Disney Archives, which will take D23 Gold Members on a history-helmed tour of Los Angeles centered around Walt Disney! Enjoy another day of sun around Tinseltown with our factual friends at the Archives—exploring sites and stories from when Walt was just someone in the crowd, to his transformation into an industry icon.

DETAILS

This is an all-day (12+ hours) walking and shuttle tour that will take guests to many of the famous places that were significant to Walt Disney in Southern California. This includes:

• Breakfast at The Walt Disney Studios lot.


• A visit to Walt Disney’s historic office suite—preserved as it was during his lifetime.


• A visit to the legendary Ink and Paint department.


• A tour of Walt Disney Imagineering and lunch at its Creative Campus.


• A special visit to Walt’s Carolwood Barn.


• Stops at several locations of personal significance to Walt, including the location where the contract that started The Walt Disney Company was signed—and his first studio on Kingswell Avenue.


• A tour of one of Walt’s homes.


• A private dinner experience at one of Walt’s favorite restaurants.


• Shopping opportunities at the Disney Studio Store, The Walt Disney Company Store, and Mickey’s of Glendale.


• Gifts made exclusively for Walt’s Los Angeles Tour.

Please note: Some portions of the tour require access via navigation of narrow walkways, one or more flights of stairs, uneven terrain, low railings, and extremely steep terrain—and boarding the shuttle bus requires ascending and descending stairs. Please also note that due to the historical nature of some tour elements and locations, ECV vehicles are not permitted.

The tour itinerary may not be suitable for all guests—including guests with disabilities—due to terrain/local conditions, the nature of the activities, or otherwise. Ticketing Terms and Conditions:

• D23 Gold Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to one (1) guest for this event.


• The D23 Gold Member must possess a valid, individual event ticket to be admitted. The Gold Member must be a present participant in the experience.


• Ticket quantities are extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.


• To purchase a ticket, D23 Gold Members must log in using their valid D23 Member account credentials.

Age Requirements:

• D23 Gold Members and their guests must be 18 years or older to partake in this experience.

Entry Requirements:

• All attendees must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement prior to admittance into the event. A copy of the Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement may be found HERE for review.


• All D23 Gold Members must present a valid D23 Gold Membership card (physical or digital via the D23 App) along with a valid event ticket at check-in.


• Failure to present a valid membership card and corresponding ticket may result in denial of admission without refund or further obligation by D23.

Event Conduct and Restrictions:

• Unauthorized video or audio recording of any kind during the tour is strictly prohibited.


• D23 reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual who fails to comply with event rules, disrupts the event, or violates the terms and conditions of participation.


• To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all D23 Members attending this D23 event are expected to adhere to the stated Disney rules (as applicable, and, including without limitation, with respect to Guest Courtesy Policies) found here.


• Guests who are age 21+ are required to present valid government-issued photo IDs to consume alcoholic beverages.

Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event.

All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Permission to Film/Photograph/Record:

Disney Worldwide Services, Inc., and its parent, affiliated, and subsidiary companies (collectively, “Disney”), and its vendors, contractors, agents and/or assigns (collectively with Disney, “Producer”), may be taking photos, filming and/or making other recordings at this location during the event you will be attending. By entering the premises for the event, for yourself and on behalf of any children accompanying you, you: (i) irrevocably consent to and authorize Producer to photograph you, make audio and/or video recordings of you in whatever medium, and use such photographs and recordings for all purposes (including advertising and promotions) in all media, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, and in any language without notice, attribution, permission or payment; and (ii) acknowledge all such photographs and/or recordings will be the sole property of Disney.
