D23 Presents Bedknobs and Broomsticks 50th Anniversary Screenings at the Walt Disney Studios

“Treguna Makoidees Trecorum Sadis Dee!” Cast a spell and celebrate 50 years of Bedknobs and Broomsticks with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club as we return to the Walt Disney Studio Lot for our first event in two years! Choose from one of two times to see the iconic Disney classic on the studio lot where it was filmed! After the big-screen experience, guests will be able to see a new display by the Walt Disney Archives, “Bedknobs and Broomsticks: 50 Years of Magic!”

This one-of-a-kind event will include a bottle of water, popcorn, and an exclusive D23 limited-edition pin—created just for this On The Lot Screening. Plus an opportunity to shop at the Studio Store!

Disney fans shouldn’t even have to use “subsitutiary locomotion” to get to this celebratory half-century screening!

ABOUT THE FILM
Bedknobs and Broomsticks follows young Charlie, Carrie, and Paul, who move to a small village during World War II and discover their host, Miss Price, is an apprentice witch! Although her early attempts at magic create hilarious results, she successfully casts a traveling spell on an ordinary bedknob, and they fly to the fantastic, animated Isle of Naboombu to find a powerful spell that will save England!

  • Beginning with an approximately two-hour screening in the Main Theater, followed by one hour to visit the Walt Disney Archives display and Studio Store.
  
  
  
  


• Saturday, April 9: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  
  
  
  • Beginning with one hour to visit the Walt Disney Archives display and Studio Store, followed by an approximately two-hour screening in the Main Theater.
  
  
  
  

Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. The event will take place at the Main Theater on The Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

This event includes:

• Screening of Bedknobs and Broomsticks (running time: 1 hour, 57 minutes)


• D23-Exclusive Bedknobs and Broomsticks 50^th Anniversary Pin


• Opportunity to visit the new display by the Walt Disney Archives: “Bedknobs and Broomsticks: 50 Years of Magic!”


• Shopping opportunity at the Studio Store (Note: The store has a limited capacity and wait times maybe longer than expected)

Please note: The following safety protocols apply regardless of your vaccination status.

  • Vaccine Option: To be fully vaccinated, you must be at least two weeks past your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or two weeks past the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. We can accept the original vaccine card, a photo of both the front and back of the original vaccine card, or an electronic record that shows name, type of vaccine, and date(s) taken. We are unable to accept QR codes at this time.

• If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home and take care of yourself. These can include, but are not limited to, cough, fever, sore throat, headache, chills, or body aches. You should also refrain from attending if you were recently in close contact with anyone who is COVID positive.


• Masks must be worn at all times. If you need a Disney-approved mask, we will be happy to provide one upon your arrival.


• Please practice physical distancing whenever possible.

NOTES

• D23 Gold Members may purchase up to two (2) tickets each.


• D23 Members must be present for their guests to gain entry to the event.


• There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when purchasing tickets. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event.


• Ticketed Members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present for their guests to gain entry to the event.


• No video or audio recording of any kind will be permitted.


• All Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event.


• Children should be supervised. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 18 or older.


• All D23 Events are subject to change without notice. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
