On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, D23 Members are invited to celebrate an iconic Disney Legend and preview The Walt Disney Family Museum’s upcoming gallery “Mary Blair: Mid-Century Magic” before it officially opens! Guests will be treated to a world of their own with private D23 Member-only access to the museum on a day when it’s closed to the public—this includes all its Main Galleries; the museum theater, playing themed clips throughout the event; the museum gift shop; and of course the new “Mary Blair: Mid-Century Magic” exhibit. This whimsical experience also includes a golden afternoon tea with light tea sandwiches and treats. Whether you’re attending to celebrate your birthday or your un-birthday, it’s sure to be an event you won’t want to miss!


This event includes:



  • First look at the new “Mary Blair: Mid-Century Magic” gallery.

  • golden afternoon-themed tea, with light tea sandwiches and treats.

  • Private access to The Walt Disney Family Museum, exclusively for D23 Members—including all its Main Galleries—on a day when the museum is closed to the public.

  • Access to the museum’s theater, playing Mary Blair-related clips throughout the duration of the event.

  • Access to the museum’s gift shop (from 4 to 6:30 p.m.), with items available for purchase.

  • A D23 Member event gift.


The duration of the event, for all groups, is 4 to 8 p.m. PT—with a designated time for each specific group to attend their afternoon tea service. Please select one of the following itineraries to take you to its corresponding ticketing page:

Inside The Walt Disney Family Museum, founded by Walt’s daughter Diane Disney Miller, you can find animation, innovation, and inspiration in the remarkable life story of Walt Disney—the man who raised animation to an art, tirelessly pursued innovation, and created a distinctly American legacy that transformed the entertainment world. Located in the scenic Presidio of San Francisco, the museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that features contemporary, interactive galleries with state-of-the-art exhibits narrated in Walt’s own voice alongside early drawings, cartoons, films, music, a spectacular model of Disneyland, and more.

  • D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three (3) guests.

  • Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.

  • There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members must log in by using their D23 Member account information when reserving tickets.

  • All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event and will require an event ticket for admission. Children under three (3) years of age receive complimentary admission.

  • Only ticketed guests will receive an event gift and tea service.

  • D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 App.


Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event, forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.


All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.


PLEASE BE ADVISED – Permission to Film/Photograph/Record: Disney Worldwide Services, Inc. (“Disney”), and its affiliates, vendors, contractors, agents and/or assigns (together, “Producer”), may be taking photos, filming and/or making other recordings during the event you will be attending.
